About The Law Of Gratitude

Understanding the laws of the universe can help you lead a happier, more full-filling life. Of these laws, the Law of Gratitude, may indeed be the second most important out there, proceeded only by the Law of Love. The reason for this is that by acknowledging the need to be grateful, we acknowledge the place of the Creator to be grateful to.

This law is one of many encompassed within the overreaching Law of Attraction. Good energy attracts good energy, and when you are experiencing a feeling of being grateful, you cannot help but put out positive energy. Moreover, we are only thankful for things we want in our lives, so we begin to naturally place more focus on other things we want, attracting that energy to us.

While allowing ourselves to receive good, we also need realize the distinction between satisfaction and gratitude. When someone is satisfied, it does not mean that they never want anything else in their lives. Rather, satisfaction is experienced when we are truly thankful for what we have in such a manner that we are optimistic about our future outlook as well.

Complacency is not a necessary attribute of satisfaction. The key is to stay open for future possibilities while being grateful for what you have now.

One feature of gratitude that is often overlooked is forgiveness. We must be able to forgive not only others, but ourselves as well. When we have really forgiven, we are able to feel grateful for their existence; if we do not feel grateful for a person’s existence, then we have not truly forgiven them.

True application of the Law of Gratitude includes accepting that what we get comes from outside of ourselves, which accepts the role of our Creator. When we learn to forgive and apply it to being grateful, our positive energy will naturally attract more positive energy. We deserve what we get, and understand this is paramount to our happiness and sense of fulfillment in the universe.
